Hi Schu crew families,
I hope that everyone has a restful and exciting winter break! Classes resume on Monday January 5th!
This is what we have been up to this week!
Literacy: Students completed their instructions for how to catch a Yeti! We also read a beautiful Indigenous story called Winter's Gifts. Student's then made their own connections for what their winter gifts are.
Math: Grade 3's finished learning about Data! When we return in the new year, we will continue with estimation and addition/subtraction facts to finish our unit. Over the break, continue to practice, skip counting, and adding and subtracting up to 1000!
Thoughtful Tuesday: Grade 3's reflected for what they were grateful for!
Visual Art: I hope you enjoyed the 2026 Calendar gift your child created! Student's chose to share a special memory they had with you in 2025.
