Look at what we have been up to!

Literacy: This week we practiced vowel teams ee, ea, ie, ai, ay, ey, oo, and oe! We loved playing heads up.

      

Math: We learned how to write number in word form. We also continued to practice reading and representing numbers. 

Science: Grade 3's discussed the differences between natural and processed materials. 

Social Studies: We learned about the acknowledgment of the land and  drew our favourite places in nature. We also discussed what he know already about Alberta's land and land features. 

Health & Wellness: Keeping our brains strong with a growth mindset was our focus this week. We drew our brain working out with our positive phrases that we can tell ourselves. 

Terry Fox: We had so much fun running to Terry Fox and others near and dear to us. We ran with out kindergarten buddies and with all the grade 3's.
